ºñ±³¹®Çבּ¸ÀÇ °æ°ú¿Í ¹æ¹ýÀ» µ¿¼­¾ç ¿©·¯ ³ª¶óÀÇ »ç·Ê¸¦ µé¾î °íÂûÇϸç, ºñ±³¹®ÇÐÀÇ ÀϹÝÀûÀÎ ¹®Á¦Á¡À» °ËÅäÇÏ°í, ºñ±³¹®ÇÐÀÇ »õ·Î¿î ¹æÇâÀ» ¸ð»öÇÑ´Ù. ¹Ýµå½Ã À̼öÇØ¾ß ÇÏ´Â Çʼö°ú¸ñÀÌ´Ù.


A compulsory course for graduate students. This course examines methodologies and developments in the study of comparative literature by examining various selected works. Students will also investigate general problems and explore new directions within the field.

¹®ÇÐÀϹÝÀÌ·ÐGeneral Theories of Literature

¹®ÇÐÀÇ ÀÏ¹Ý ÀÌ·ÐÀ» µ¿¼­¾ç ¿©·¯ ³ª¶óÀÇ ´Ù¾çÇÑ ÇÐÆÄ¿¡¼­ ¾î¶»°Ô ¼ö¸³ÇØ ¿Ô´Â°¡¸¦ °íÂûÇϸç, ¹®ÇÐÀϹÝÀÌ·ÐÀÇ Àü¹ÝÀûÀÎ ¹®Á¦Á¡À» °ËÅäÇÏ°í, »õ·Î¿î ÀÌ·ÐÀ» ¸ð»öÇÑ´Ù. ¹Ýµå½Ã À̼öÇØ¾ß ÇÏ´Â Çʼö°ú¸ñÀÌ´Ù.

This course investigates the establishment of general literary theories in various Eastern and Western literature. It also reviews problems of literary theories in general, as well as explores the development of new theories. It is a compulsory course for all graduate students.

¹ø¿ªÀÇ À̷аú ½ÇÁ¦Theory and Practice of Translation

¹ø¿ªÀÇ ¿ª»ç, ¿ø¸®, ¹æ¹ý, ÀÇÀÇ µî¿¡ °üÇÑ ÀÌ·ÐÀûÀÎ °ËÅ並 ÇÏ°í, ƯÈ÷ ¹®ÇÐÀÛÇ°ÀÇ ¹ø¿ª¿¡¼­ Á¦±âµÇ´Â ½ÇÁ¦ÀûÀÎ ¹®Á¦Á¡À» °íÂûÇÑ´Ù. ¹ø¿ª ½Ç½ÀÀ» º´ÇàÇؼ­ ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ´Ù.

Students will examine the history, principles, methods, and significance of translation. In addition, they will participate in translation sessions to discuss practical problems raised in literary translation.

¹®Ã¼·ÐStylistics

¹®Ã¼·Ð¿¡ °üÇÑ µ¿¼­¾ç ¿©·¯ ³ª¶óÀÇ ´Ù¾çÇÑ ÀÌ·ÐÀ» °íÂûÇϸç, ºñ±³¹®ÇÐ ¿¬±¸¿¡¼­ ¹®Ã¼·ÐÀÌ °¡Áö´Â ÀÇÀǸ¦ °ËÅäÇÏ°í, ¹®Ã¼ÀÇ ½Ç»ó¿¡ °üÇÑ ºñ±³¿¬±¸¸¦ ÇÑ´Ù.

Students will be exposed to various Eastern and Western theories on Stylistics. The course deals with the stylistic variety in works of literature and considers its significance in the study of Comparative Literature.

This course will review the development and problems in the comparative studies of Asian and Western literature. Students will study a selection of works and topics for new research.

This course examines the development and problems in the comparative literary studies of Korea, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America. Students will inquire into new topics for research.

This course examines the achievements and problems in comparing Literature with other fields of art such as Fine Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Film. It also explores new methods of interdisciplinary research.

This course evaluates the various relations between Literature and other disciplines such as Linguistics, Philosophy, Psychology, History, Sociology and Politics. Students will also explore new methods of interdisciplinary research.

This course will study a select group of topics that are normally not dealt with in other courses. Students will explore new areas of research.

This course examines and further investigates topics which are normally not dealt with in other courses, allowing for the development of new research areas.

This course examines the historical development of various literary ideas of the East and the West, focusing on common trends in literary theory.

This course will examine the history of various genre theories in the East and the West, focusing on their shared trends.

ºñ±³¹®ÇÐÀÇ ¿©·¯ ÁÖÁ¦¿¡ °üÇÏ¿© ÇлýµéÀÌ ¿¬±¸ÇÑ ¹Ù¸¦ ¹ßÇ¥ÇÏ°í Åä·ÐÇϸ鼭, ¿¬±¸´É·ÂÀ» ±â¸£°Ô ÇÑ´Ù.

In this course, students will focus on the cooperative aspect of research. It will develop their ability to conduct research, present their findings, and critically discuss their results with their colleagues.

This is a follow-up course to <Seminar in Comparative Literature 1>. It further refines the skills learned in the previous course.

³í¹®À» ÁغñÇÏ°í ÀÖ´Â ÇлýµéÀ» ´ë»óÀ¸·Î ÇÏ¿©, Áöµµ±³¼öÀÇ °¨µ¶ ¾Æ·¡ ÁÖÁ¦¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÏ°í ¿¬±¸ÇÏ°Ô ÇÑ´Ù.

This course is intended to help the student who is preparing his or her thesis or dissertation. Student will select and study the topic he or she has chosen under the direction of his or her supervisor.
