| 연구분야는 20세기 미국소설, 아시아계 미국문학, 이주/이산문학, 트라우마 연구, 정신분석비평이다. 주요 연구관심사는20세기 미국-아시아 역사가 개인의 삶의 영역에 상처, 기억, 이주/이산의 문제로 침투하는 방식이다. 테러리즘과 신자유주의가 트라우마와 미학의 관계를 재편하는 방식에도 관심이 있다. 주요 국내논문으로 “트라우마와 정동” (비평이론 19.2, 2014), “이창래의 디아스포라 로맨스” (미국학 42.1, 2019), “돈 드릴로의 9/11픽션과 정물적 상상력” (미국소설 27.1, 2020)이 있고, 해외논문으로는 2013 Lucie Cheng Prize를 수상한 “I’m still at war with myself”: Transnational adoption and endless labor in Jane Jeong Trenka’s Fugitive Visions” (Amerasia journal 40.3, 2014), “The Affects and Ethics of the Gift in Aimee Phan’s We Should Never Meet” (Contemporary Literature 57.1, 2016), The Limits of Cosmopolitanism (Routledge 2019)에 실린 “Animated Plastic and Material Eco-Cosmopolitanism in Through the Arc of the Rain Forest”이 있다. |
